How to Add Funds to Your Global USD Account
Last updated July 27, 2026
Overview
You can add funds to your Slash Global USD account through U.S. bank transfers, eligible local payment rails, and supported stablecoin deposits. Available funding methods, fees, exchange rates, limits, and instructions can vary by account.
Available Funding Methods
From your Slash dashboard homepage, click 'Add Funds' in the top right corner. Then, choose the available funding method you want to use.
- Domestic ACH: Receive USD from a U.S. bank account through the ACH network.
- Domestic wire: Receive USD through Fedwire.
- Local payment rails: Where available, fund with EUR through SEPA, GBP through Faster Payments (FPS), BRL through Pix, or MXN through SPEI.
- Stablecoins: Deposit a supported stablecoin, such as USDC or USDT, on an eligible blockchain network shown in your dashboard.

How to Add Funds via ACH
Step 1: Get your ACH instructions
Select the ACH option and copy the account number, ACH routing number, beneficiary name, bank name, and any other details shown.
Step 2: Send the transfer from a U.S. bank
Use your external bank’s transfer flow to send USD using the ACH instructions. The beneficiary name should match the business name shown on your Global USD account.
Step 3: Allow time for processing
ACH deposits typically take 1–3 business days. Weekends, bank holidays, sending-bank holds, returns, or additional review can extend processing time.
How to Add Funds by Wire
Step 1: Get your wire instructions
Select the domestic wire option and copy the bank name, beneficiary name, account number, wire routing number, bank address, and any other instructions exactly as displayed.
Step 2: Initiate the wire
Send USD from your bank using the wire instructions. ACH and wire routing instructions are not interchangeable, so make sure you select the correct transfer type.
Step 3: Allow time for processing
Domestic wires are often credited the same business day when sent before the sending bank’s cutoff. Transfers sent after cutoff, on weekends or holidays, or requiring review may arrive the next business day or later.
How to Add Funds Through a Local Payment Rail
Local payment rails are not automatically available on every Global USD account. To request access, an account owner should contact Slash Support through the in-app chat and specify the local currency or rail they need.
Slash will review the business and account for eligibility and may request additional information or documents before enabling the corresponding funding route. If approved and provisioned, the new option will appear under Add Funds.
Eligible Global USD accounts may be funded in local currency through:
- EUR through SEPA
- GBP through Faster Payments (FPS)
- BRL through Pix
- MXN through SPEI
Step 1: Select the local currency and rail
From Add Funds or Receive, choose an available local currency and payment rail. The method available in your Global USD account will vary based on your location and account approvals.
Step 2: Review the quote and instructions
Enter the requested amount and review the displayed exchange rate, fee, limits, and expected amount to be credited. Slash may provide local account details, a payment reference, or other rail-specific instructions.
Step 3: Send the local-currency payment
Send the selected local currency from your bank and include every required reference or memo exactly as shown. A missing or incorrect reference can delay or prevent the deposit from being matched to your account.
Step 4: Wait for the funds to be credited
After the payment is received and processed, the local currency is converted and credited to your Global USD balance. Even when a rail supports real-time payments, bank processing, provider availability, bank holidays, and compliance review can affect when the funds appear.
How to Add Funds with Stablecoins
Step 1: Select a token and network
Open Add Funds and select USDC/USDT (if available for your account).
Step 2: Copy the wallet address
A QR code and crypto wallet address will appear above options to select your token and preferred blockchain. Select which token and chain you would like to use first; the wallet details and QR code update automatically with changes to transaction details.

Select a payment rail for covering any on/off ramp fees for converting on-chain. You'll see Slash's platform conversion fee
Copy the wallet address displayed for the selected token and network. If a memo, tag, or other identifier is shown, include it exactly.
Step 3: Send from your external wallet or exchange
Send only the selected token on the exact network shown in Slash. Sending an unsupported asset or using the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds. Consider sending a small test transaction first.
Step 4: Wait for confirmation and review
Timing depends on network conditions, the required number of confirmations, and any applicable review. Once processing is complete, the deposit is converted to USDSL and credited to your Global USD balance.
Note: USDSL is the token that backs your Global USD balance; it cannot be used to send or receive transactions.
Troubleshooting
Fees, exchange rates, minimums, and limits vary by funding method and account. Review the terms shown in the funding flow before sending money. Your sending bank, wallet, exchange, or blockchain network may charge separate fees.
An incoming transfer may appear as pending after Slash receives notice of it and will update when processing is complete. Some deposits may not appear until they are credited. A completed deposit can still be returned or recalled in certain circumstances.
If you're encountering unexpected payment delays or blocks while attempting to fund your account:
- ACH or domestic wire: Confirm the sender used the correct rail, routing number, account number, beneficiary name, and currency.
- Local payment rail: Confirm the correct local currency was sent and every required reference or memo was included.
- Stablecoin: Confirm the transaction used the exact supported token, network, wallet address, and any required memo or tag. Check the transaction on the appropriate blockchain explorer.
Deposits may also be delayed by bank holidays, provider cutoffs, unsupported senders or currencies, network congestion, compliance review, or a return or recall request.
