How to Know if You're Eligible for Slash

Overview

Slash provides financial services to businesses in supported countries through our U.S. business platform and our Global USD Account for eligible non-U.S. businesses.

However, approval for Slash is not guaranteed. Slash and its financial partners may determine, in their discretion, whether a business, owner, user, or use case is eligible for account access.

To apply for Slash, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Not have been previously suspended, removed, or deactivated from Slash
• Use Slash only in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, agreements, and partner requirements
• Apply as an eligible business entity (Slash is not currently available to sole proprietorships or consumers)

Slash may also be unable to support businesses operating in certain industries, jurisdictions, or business models. These restrictions help Slash comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering obligations, sanctions programs, card network rules, banking partner requirements, and other financial services standards.

Business Eligibility

Slash cannot support businesses that engage in illegal activity; operate in prohibited jurisdictions; fail required screening; provide unverifiable or misleading information; or conduct regulated activity without the required licenses, approvals, or compliance controls.

Some industries and business models may require additional review before Slash can determine eligibility. During onboarding or ongoing review, Slash may request additional information about your business, ownership, source of funds, licenses, compliance controls, or intended use of Slash services.

Slash accounts are intended for a business’s own operating activity. Slash is unable to support businesses that intend to use Slash accounts to receive, hold, move, or distribute funds on behalf of customers, users, players, or other third parties. This may include customer funds, player funds, prize pools, custodial funds, digital asset settlement flows, or other third-party funds.

Eligibility is determined during onboarding and may be reassessed over time. Slash may decline, restrict, suspend, or close an account if the business cannot meet applicable requirements. For additional account usage restrictions that may result in suspension or removal from Slash, please refer to Section 5 of the Slash Terms of Service.

Geographic Restrictions

Slash cannot support business entities, beneficial owners, or users connected to OFAC-designated prohibited jurisdictions or regions restricted by sanctions programs and other applicable international financial regulations.

Slash also follows geographic restrictions and availability requirements set by our financial partners. These jurisdictional requirements may vary by product, service, account type, card program, and customer type.
