Eligibility is evaluated case by case and depends on business activities, ownership, jurisdiction, and the products requested. Slash generally supports businesses including SaaS, ecommerce, agencies, consultants, law firms, professional services, and real estate. Certain regulated, high-risk, unlawful, or cash-heavy activities may not be eligible, and Slash does not currently open accounts for trusts. Why don't you support SMS two-factor authentication?

SMS two-factor authentication can be compromised through phone-number porting and SIM-swap attacks. Authenticator apps such as Authy and Google Authenticator generate time-based codes on your device and are not vulnerable to SIM-swap attacks in the same way.

Is the Slash Platinum Card a debit or credit card?

The Slash Platinum Card is a secured charge card. Each day, you can spend up to your available Credit Limit, which is based on funds securing your card and is shown on the Credit Account page. Your Slash Cash Account includes a Transactional Account and a Collateral Account. Funds deposited into the Transactional Account are automatically forwarded to the Collateral Account up to your Credit Limit. The Collateral Account secures your card balance, and card transactions place holds on available collateral. Funds that are not on hold may be moved by wire or ACH.

How often do I need to pay off my card?

Your Slash Platinum card must be paid off daily in full. There are two ways to pay off your card: If you have not opted in to making payments from an external account, we will automatically debit your Collateral Account. If you opt in to making payments from an external account, each day you may authorize a one-time payment to us by sending an ACH or wire transfer. When your balance is paid off, you’ll see a “Daily Card Payment” debit in your transaction page with the corresponding amount.
